Lotus notes crashes on Win7 machines - clean machine

We have a user running a clean install of Lotus Notes 8.5.2 on a 64-bit Windows 7 Professional computer. He is also experiencing the same problem with error message:

WARNING (0): nsdpath passed in C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\nsd.exe

WARNING (0): dirpath trying to access.. C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\framework\rcp\rcplauncher.properties

WARNING (0): wrkspacepath passed in ${env.USERPROFILE}/AppData/Local/Lotus/Notes/Data/workspace

WARNING (0): Java core: File workspace\.sid not found

Any further suggestions would be most welcome.
